Introduced in 1979, the 3rd generation Mustang was built on the
'Fox' platform. This virtually original 2-owner 1990 Mustang LX
'7-Up Edition' was a Limited Edition model. Ford produced the
'7-Up' Mustang as part of a promotion planned with the NCAA. The
promotion was cancelled at the last minute, but just over 4,100
Mustang '7-Up' convertibles were still produced. This LX is a
beautiful example of this rare Gen3 'Hoss'. The Deep Emerald Green
clearcoat metallic finish is in excellent condition as is the white
power-assisted convertible top. Mustang GT 'turbine' alloy wheels
(part of the 7-Up package) mount 15" Goodyear Eagle performance
radials. The original interior, upholstered in White leather, is
also excellent condition. It is well optioned with A/C, cruise,
power-tinted windows, power locks and premium AM/FM/Cassette sound
system. The Mustang LX is powered by a 5.0L 'Windsor' V8 rated at
225 HP and 300 lb/ft of torque with 9.0:1 compression. It is
equipped with EEC-IV Sequential Fuel Injection (580cfm) and backed
by Ford's AOD 4-speed automatic transmission and an 8.8" Trak-Lok
differential. The chassis is equipped with power rack/pinion
steering and power brakes - front disc 10.84"D/ rear drum 9"D.
Front suspension is independent MacPherson struts and the rear is
coil springs and sway bar. This beautiful Mustang LX ragtop will
not be here long. Come take a closer look at this classic. ALL
VEHICLES SOLD "AS IS".
