1983 Oldsmobile Cutlass is one of 3,001 Hurst/Olds 15th Anniversary Editions made. This vehicle is very clean inside and out as you can see in the detailed photos. It has only 87,000 original miles. It is finished in Black with silver lower bodywork and red striping. It has been professionally upgraded with a 350 V8 Oldsmobile motor with the a four-speed automatic transmission with Hurst Lightning Rods triple-shifters and a true dual exhaust system. It has rare gray cloth interior which is in excellent shape.
Additional equipment includes a limited-slip differential, a rear spoiler, cruise control, and a Delco CD stereo and everything works as it should. A power-bulge hood and trunk spoiler were standard equipment along with Hurst/Olds decals on the doors and trunk lid. The was repainted to correct the factory paint which had a tendency to crack. The paint was professionally done has a mirror finish. The wheels are factory Super Stock and mounted with 235/60 BFGoodrich Radial T/A white-letter tires. Hurst/Olds 15th Anniversary cars came equipped with power-assisted front disc brakes and heavy-duty suspension from the factory. The car is clean with no leaks anywhere.
The interior has high-back bucket seats and a rear bench trimmed in gray cloth upholstery, along with color-coordinated door panels and woodgrain trim on the dash and center console. Additional amenities include cruise control, a Hurst/Olds plaque affixed to the dashboard. A full-length center console houses a Hurst Lightning Rods triple-shifter setup, which allows the driver to individually select gears in the automatic transmission. The brochure shown in the photos is the actual car that was chosen to photograph. The car has also won Senior Preservation at the Oldsmobile of America Nationals with a score of 997.
