Introduced at the 2005 Frankfurt Motor Show. Internally designated
X150, the new XK clearly evoked the classic E-Type with its oval
grille up front and streamlined, muscular overall visual presence.
Based upon bonded/riveted aluminum construction, the XK also
featured fully independent suspension, power steering and
four-wheel disc brakes. Powering the XKR was a supercharged
4.2-liter V-8 engine developing 420 bhp and 413 lb.-ft of torque,
delivering 0-60 mph acceleration in 4.9 seconds and an
electronically limited 155-mph top speed. Transmission choices
included a standard 6-speed automatic with paddle-shift capability
or a 6-speed manual unit. Directly competing with the
997-generation Porsche 911 R230 Mercedes-Benz SL, the X150 Jaguar
XK/XKR remained in production until 2014, with 54,000 sold in
total. Handsomely finished in Black over Black leather upholstery,
this 2008 Jaguar XKR Coupe was built during December 2007 and
priced new at $66K. A clean Carfax vehicle-history report is
included. Retaining the original paint finish, this XKR is offered
with 52,603 indicated miles, which are believed actual at the time
of writing. As expected, features, options and passenger amenities
