1957 fuel injected Corvette for sale. 4 speed, original 283/283hp engine, soft top only. I met and spent much time with the original owner in Beverly Hills, California when I bought the car from the widow of the second owner in 2012. Extensively road raced and drag raced in southern California 1957-67. 51 race trophies and extensive history included in the sale. Original certificate of track record set at San Fernando Drag Strip set June 8, 1958 included. 1958 California state 1/4 mile champion (trophy included). I'm the third owner. The car sat for many years before I purchased it in Los Angeles in 2012. Car was prepped for sale at Guldstrand Motorsports. Believed to have been originally race prepped by Bill Thomas at CS Mead Chevrolet in Pasadena. Suspension by Max Balchowski, wheels from Andy Porterfield. Comes with many extra parts, including camshafts, a flywheel, differential, extra axles, race tow bar and too many engine parts to list. Magazine articles about the car from Super Chevy, NCRS Restorer, and SACC On Solid Ground are included. Excellent rust free southern california frame; original frame stencil is present. Unrestored.
