for sale. The Mk I Sprite was designed by Donald Healey and
featured a distinctive design that led to the model being
affectionately known as the Bugeye or Frogeye. This generation of
Sprite was powered by a 948cc inline four engine that generated
43hp. The lightweight Mk I Sprite proved very popular among
motorsport fans, with the car actively participating in rallying
and track based series to this day. This Sprite sports an Old
English White exterior which has been fully repainted in 2015. The
interior features red leather seats, red carpet and a red dash. The
vehicle features spark ignition, a 4 stroke, 4-cylinder motor and a
4-speed manual transmission. The odometer reads 782, which is the
total mileage since the restoration. The owner does not have
documentation of the restoration, as the vehicle was purchased a
little over a year ago from a woman who got the vehicle in a
divorce settlement. Her husband traveled a great deal, and brought
it back to the states after the restoration in England. All lights
and gauges including speedometer, tachometer, fuel gauge, and water
temperature are all fully functioning. The horn, heater, and
windshield wipers operate as they should. The interior is designed
to prioritize the driving experience, with a driver-focused layout
and comfortable bucket seats that provide good support during
spirited driving. The vehicle is a right-hand drive vehicle, so the
driver shifts with his/her left hand. The fiberglass top can be
unlatched, removed, and stored elsewhere. The current owner has
owned the car for just over a year. It runs and drives as it should
and appears to be well maintained. The vehicle is equipped with new
tires, and there is no evidence of any fluid leaks from any of the
systems. The car presents very well, in excellent condition, runs
