position rear axle. This configuration was advertised to produce
290hp but was actually found to produce 400hp. This Camaro Z/28 has
43,448 original miles, retaining its original sales invoice, loan
contract, window sticker, and protect-0-Plate, along with a host of
documentation filed in three binders that are part of this
vehicle's amazing history. The Z/28 option started in 1967 with 602
built. The package was intended to homologate the 302 engine and
heavy-duty parts for Trans Am racing. 1968 production increased to
7,199 and increased further in 1969 to 20,302 as the package became
