This was the last year for the C-1 body style and was the first year to offer a 327ci, small block V8 engine paired with a Carter 4bbl AFB carburetor and a 4- speed manual transmission. After the restoration the first show this Corvette attended was in Chicago at the Nicoley Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals where it scored 977 points out of a possible1000 points!
