1962 Chevrolet Corvette convertible is absolutely breathtaking. A
two-year, frame up, high-quality restoration to the exacting
standards set forth by the National Corvette Restoration Society is
very well documented with photos showing the painstaking attention
to detail that makes this vehicle a true collector car! This was
the last year for the C-1 body style and was the first year to
offer a 327ci, small block V8 engine paired with a Carter 4bbl AFB
carburetor and a 4- speed manual transmission. This amazing
automobile is a Muscle Car And Corvette National "MCACN" 'Concours
Gold' winner. After the restoration the first show this Corvette
attended was in Chicago at the Nicoley Muscle Car and Corvette
Nationals where it scored 977 points out of a possible1000 points!
Other accolades include a "Senior Award at Vermont Automobile
Enthusiasts" meet in 2009 and a "Good Guys Display of Excellence
Award" at Rhinebeck in 2016. The original black paint exterior over
red vinyl interior is true and correct to this vehicle which sports
a black hardtop and white vinyl convertible roof. Factory features
such as air defrost, whitewall tires and clock top off this
