MaxMotive is pleased to offer this handsome, one-owner 1975 Pontiac
Grand Prix Model J. Powered by the vaunted 400 cubic inch 4-barrel
V8 engine with the low end torque that made these engines so well
loved. Another renowned component is the Turbo 400 automatic
transmission. This one's operated with a console mounted floor
shifter. Both the engine and transmission are original, as is the
exterior color, Lakemist. The paint and body is mostly original
including the factory optional painted accent stripes. This Model J
was ordered with Soft-Ray tinted glass, power windows, body side
mouldings, a Landau Cordova top, Custom Air Conditioning (not
presently functioning), body-color outside mirrors, tilt wheel,
Rally II wheels, and the Delco AM/FM stereo radio. The
All-Marrokide interior coordinates with the paint color and
features the attractive cockpit-like rally dash. It comes with its
original Owner's Package including two separate manuals, the
General Information and the Operating Instructions Owner's Manuals.
The Grand Prix was right at the epicenter of the popular personal
luxury segment, and Pontiac was proud of their entry. The brochure
says, "If Pontiac built only one car in 1975, it would be a Grand
Prix. Because the G.P. combines what we know about styling, ride,
performance, and comfort in one classic road car." Be sure to see
the detailed photos of this fine example at www.maxmotive.com.
