Gateway Classic Cars Milwaukee is excited to present this 1957
Chevrolet Resto Mod. The second- generation Bel Air was
manufactured from 1955-1957. Body styles included two-door,
four-door, and station wagon platforms. Chevrolet marketed the Bel
Air as flagship full size offering with upscale features. Full
carpeting, stainless steel window moldings, full wheel covers, and
optional air conditioning. The 1957 Bel Air has become an iconic
classic for its unique styling. Features like a Ferrari inspired
grille, rear tail fins, rocket hood ornaments, and tons of chrome
have made the '57 a highly sought-after model. This 1957 Chevrolet
Bel Air Resto Mod is beautifully painted in Tropical Turquoise with
a white top. Gold emblems, dual mirrors, and Billet Specialties
chrome wheels add to Bel Airs classic good looks. The turquoise and
black interior has been redone to its original specs. Aftermarket
gauges (below dash), seatbelts, and a retro AM/FM radio have been
added. Under the hood of this beauty is a chromed engine
compartment with a 383 stroker V-8 consisting of ceramic headers,
Sniper fuel injection, aluminum radiator w/ dual fans, 350 cam, and
aluminum Overflow tanks. The TH-200 4R automatic transmission is
attached to a True Trac rear end. The suspension consists of Tube A
arms upper and lower, coil over front shocks, front sway bar, and
rear track bars. Other features include X pipe exhaust, electric
cut outs, front disk brakes w/ power booster, dual master cylinder,
and 605 power steering and pump.
