The Fiero by Pontiac is a mid-engine 2-door sports car manufactured
my Pontiac for model years 1984 through 1988. It was designed as a
sporty looking economical commuter with modest performance
aspirations. It was the first rear mid-engine mass produced car by
any American manufacturer. In 1988 for the final year, they only
built about 5,000 Formula Fieros which gave it a WS6 suspension and
rear spoiler. This particular Formula has been modified from new
with a 3.4 liter engine with 10:1 compression, a roller top end,
Truleo intake, headers, injectors, chip etc...it is estimated to be
around 235 HP and is mated to a 5-speed Getrag transmission. It was
painted Crystal Red Tint Coat from a 2013 Corvette and Camaro code.
It also has been outfitted with KYB adjustable shocks. This thing
is a little ripper for sure. The paint is in "OK" condition with
many parts peeling off but the body seems to be in good rust free
condition as does the underside, which is pretty clean. The
interior is modified with a nice sound system and everything
seemingly in working order. This Fiero sounds amazing and goes
through all the gears, has good brakes and is fun to drive. You
just never see these things anymore.
