Motorcar Studio is pleased to offer this 1969 Chevrolet Camaro
Z/28. This Z/28 is a true X77 production car produced at the
Norwood plant in February 1969, and restored to a nice standard in
the mid 2000s. Powered by a code DZ 302 cubic inch engine mated to
a Muncie M21 four speed and a 3.73 open diff. The engine and
transmission are date correct but not numbers-matching.
Presented in the stunning (and correct) color combination of code
71 LeMans Blue paint with code 715 blue interior. It was sold at
the Barrett-Jackson Palm Beach sale in 2009 and received a
documented rebuild of the solid lifter, four-bolt main 302 in 2012.
It has been with the current owner for ten years - garage kept and
driven sparingly, it has approximately 2,000 miles on the engine
rebuild.
It is equipped as it left the factory with a Muncie 4-speed manual
transmission, power front disk brakes, cowl induction, Holly 4053
Carburetor and center console with gauge package. The restoration
has held up well with a nice paint finish, panel gaps, correct
interior and a nicely detailed engine compartment. It runs and
drives well with brand new BFG radials on factory 15-inch rally
wheels.
