We will start with the exterior of this 2500. From the moment you
walk up on this truck there's no denying the quality of the resto.
The panel fit is near flawless and we can see that all the gaps are
even and symmetrical. Down the sides are laser straight on this
truck, and all the side trim flows beautifully from the front to
the back. This truck is finished out in the gorgeous 2 tone hunter
green and silver color scheme with the paint having been done in
base coat clear coat here. Countless hours have been spent wet
sanding buffing and polishing it to a show-ready mirror finish.
Inside the bed, we can see that it is custom-fitted with a new bed
floor, bed floor trim, and that the bed has been done in silver to
match the two-tone color scheme. You'll also notice that the gas
cap has been removed and that a custom billet gas filler has been
added to the bed to keep it clean. Every piece of chrome and
stainless looks to have been redone or replaced. The front grill
and bumper are stunning along with the bezels and lights. Out back
we can see that it's fitted with a custom-built rear bumper that's
molded for the exhaust tips and has the led tag lights. You'll also
notice that the tail lights have been upgraded to the LED option.
This truck has dual sport mirrors and has had the antenna upgraded
to power. This truck is set off by the custom-built Boyd Coddington
Wheels with Michelin Pilot Super Sport Tires 285/40/19 on the front
and 335/30/20 on the Rear.
Next, we will look at the interior of this Pick-Up. The quality
flows perfectly to the interior as the two-tone scheme carries
perfectly. You'll notice the door panels are just as slick as the
exterior and we can see that a great job with all the details. This
truck is upgraded with power windows, but they used the custom kit
that uses factory-style cranks to work them. You'll notice this
truck has the TMI dark gray bench seat that was custom-done and has
the suede insert accents. It also has a custom-built console that
houses the automatic shifter and has built-in cup holders with LED
base and the wipers control. This truck has a painted two-tone dash
that has a beautiful finish. All the little details on this truck
are excellent from the side stripe carrying over to the jams, to
the two-tone top carrying down the A pillar to the dash. The radio
has been upgraded with a Pioneer head unit and a custom-built box
behind the seat that houses the Pioneer speakers and Sound
Ordinance Sub Woofer. We can also see that Air Conditioning & Heat
has been upgraded to the modern system that uses the controls in
the factory location. This Resto Mod pickup also sports the
upgraded Digital 6 Pack of gauges. New visors were also installed
at the time of the restoration and the roof is just as slick as the
outside of the cab. To finish off the interior it has a tilt column
with a new billet wheel that pulls the look together perfectly.
Finally, we will great to the driveline of this GMC. Under the
hood, there is no denying the quality of the restoration. The fire
wall has been slicked down with the power booster having been
hidden and we can see that all the inner fenders and finishing
bolts are done in stainless. It has Billet Eddie Mortorsports Hood
Hinges. The power comes from the GM Performance LS3 6.2L/430HP Fuel
Injected Engine. It sports a beautiful engine cover that provides
the perfect two-tone complement to the rest of the truck. The LS3
is mated to the Supermatic 4L65 E transmission that flows to the 9"
Ford with Posi Traction setup. When you look under this truck you
will continue to find components that make you impressed with the
eye for detail. All new body bushings were installed, and the frame
was powder-coated at the time of the restoration. It has a custom
drive shaft loop that is also channeled for the exhaust system. The
rear and middle supports are also channeled for the exhaust.
Speaking of the exhaust you'll notice it has stainless pipes with
the H pipe and Borla ATAK mufflers. For suspension, this truck is
set up with the Four link set up out back along with the pan hard
bar. Under the front, you have tubular upper and lower control arms
along. This '65 does have coil overs on all four corners. For

up. For brakes, it has the four-wheel Wilwood Disc brake package
that features drilled and slotted rotors. New fuel and brake lines
