This anniversary version was built in honour of the fact that Saab was imported into the Netherlands for 25 years (1954 - 1979). Only 150 cars were produced, which makes this Saab a very popular model among collectors. The Saab 96 GL Special Limited Edition that we offer for sale here was delivered new in the Netherlands and comes from a Saab enthusiast who had the classic restored in the past. The engine and gearbox have also been overhauled and have only run about 1500 km after the overhaul. The Saab is in beautiful, original condition. It is powered by the 1.5 liter V4 engine that is linked to a 4-speed manual gearbox.
The Saab 96 GL Special Limited Edition that we offer for sale here is finished in the beautiful factory colour Aquamarine blue metallic. A colour that looks great on the classic and makes it a real eye-catcher. This limited edition distinguishes itself from the standard Saab 96 with a list of options such as a front spoiler, rear spoiler, Hella spotlights, mud flaps and the original "soccerball" wheels. The interior is in neat condition with minor signs of wear and is equipped with cognac brown upholstery. The Saab has a leather-covered sports steering wheel with red stitching and the limited edition badge on the dashboard.
