35' TiresRebuilt GearboxesShown here is a factory-built Defender 90
V8 soft top sourced from a dry climate. Land Rover manufactured a
limited number of factory built V8 Defenders. The V8 had the most
horsepower out of any engine in the Defender lineup. Thanks to an
added Edelbrock Performer Intake and Edelbrock 1404 500 CFM
4-barrel Carburetor this Defender is packing some extra punch. Car
Cave went through an extensive amount of mechanical maintenance on
this Defender. This included overhauling the transmission, transfer
box, axles, and installing a new clutch kit. The engine has
approximately 80,000 miles and has been road tested extensively by
our shop after the Edelbrock Performer Intake and 4 barrel
carburetor was installed. This Defender runs great and shifts
properly. The Defender was sold new in Greece and purchased by our
Athens location. When we found this Defender it had a straight body
and dry climate chassis. The vehicle is aesthetically identical to
when we purchased. The previous owner installed the tall lift kit,
wheels, and 35' tires showing an aggressive and tall stance under
the extended fender flares. The soft top has a custom slant back
appearance similar to Jeeps and HMMWVs. Inside is a roll bar and
seating for 4 in the rear.Upgrades and Features:Suspension Lift

is a rare left hand drive with the factory built 3.5L Rover V8 that
has been performance modified with a Edelbrock Performer Intake and
4 Barrel Carb. A great looking and riding set 35x12.50x15 Maxxis
Creepy Crawler tires keep the wheels spinning and traction to the
pavement. Speaking of wheels, the previous owner installed a set of
extra wide 15' steel wheels. The tire size matches perfectly to the
size of lift. The factory V8 engine runs extremely well with a deep
subtle growl of a V8. The 5-Speed manual transmission shifts
correctly through the gears smooth and precisely. A lot of upgrades
have been added to this Defender to update the look and add to its
offroad prowess. The factory options are pretty typical for a
Defender of the era including a heater, rear fog lamp, windshield
wipers, blinkers, power steering, and power disc brakes.
