Originally sold at Bob McDorman Chevrolet in Canal Winchester
Ohio.
Corvette comes with original laminated window sticker at a
delivered sales price of $24,956.59.
This Corvette has a clean car fax report with no accidents.
Car has had one magnificent repaint in 2005 with new decals and has
a near perfect body and paint. Paint has 2 micro chip touch ups on
nose. Exterior looks better than it did new in 1982. T-Tops are in
immaculate pristine condition.
Interior is exceptionally clean and barely driven for 42 years.
Engine bay is extremely correct and clean. Air Conditioning blows
ice cold and fan is strong. Heater is all in working order and
blows hot. All lights, wipers, horn, electric antenna were tested
and work as designed.
The year 1982 was the last for the C3 Corvette. Chevrolet offered
the "Collector's Edition" for a base price of $22,537, which was
the first Corvette to cost more than $20K, with no 4-speed manual
gearboxes available in this year.
Only 6,759 Collector Edition Corvettes were produced in 1982, which
also offered the first opening hatchback. Collector Editions also
had optional special wheels which resembled the 1967 "bolt-on"
wheels. The model also had special silver-beige paint, matching
leather interior, and cloisonne emblems.
Chevrolet also introduced the "Cross-Fire" fuel injection 350 L83
5.7 Liter engine, which combined two fuel injectors for better
mileage.
Only 25,407 total Corvettes were made in 1982 so overall you don't
see many at all today and rarely ever see a Collectors Edition.

Disclosures: rear hatch is currently non operational. Tires have
less than 2K miles however are 20 yrs old and should be replaced
