Vehicle Description
1946 Dodge WD-21 1 Ton Panel Truck with single rear wheels on a
133' wheelbase, # 1226 built, originally painted dark blue,
might've been Military or Civilian Defense when new. This is an
unusual truck, this body style was always super low production, and
even more so in the long wheelbase. It is very complete, still has
the correct folding bucket seats for this body style with the
drivers side adjustable track, it has 5 correct wheels, the spare
tire hardware is intact, and the original lug wrench is still in
the tool box. The dash is largely untouched with the exception of
the 2 added gauges, stored for decades. I replaced the grill - this
one has decent restorable stainless and the lower bars are uncut, I
also put on a better pair of front fenders and I had the super rare
long wheelbase running boards and the rear bumper - which only fits
pickups and this body style truck - professionally straightened and
that work is still in bare metal. The fabric top was covered with a
single piece of sheet metal many years ago and the roof rack and
sunroof were added sometime later. There is some rust in the lower
parts of the body and in the bottom of the rear doors, I have a
clear title in my name. I have the front and rear axles and
transfer case from a 40's 4WD Power Wagon that I'll include if
wanted to convert to FWD. condition: fair cylinders: 6 cylinders
