For Sale: 1993 GMC Sonoma in San Antonio, Texas

Vehicle Description

This is a great little truck!  I am the second owner.  I’ve driven it regularly for nearly ten years.  The previous owner was a retired USAF officer who is now deceased.  The truck has been garaged for the majority of its life.  I’ve worked to maintain its original appearance. It has power windows, power steering, three speed automatic transmission with overdrive, AM/FM radio and cassette player, tinted windows all around.  Paint, carpet, upholstery and drivetrain are all original and in very good to excellent condition.  There is no rust on the chassis or body.  The frame rails have been coated with Woolwax, a lanolin based preservative.  I have extensive records, some dating back to its purchase in 1993. I also have the original owners manual.  Since I have owned it have had the interior of the bed coated with a ifetime “rhino” type of material; replaced the fuel tank, fuel pump and gauge sending unit; replaced the air conditioner compressor, blower motor, relays and control switch, and replaced the refrigerant with a readily available type; replaced the radiator and hoses; restored the radio and cassette player to original condition; replaced the front wheel bearings, repaired the ABS (automatic braking system), and repaired the front and rear brakes; replaced the engine management computer with an original equipment type computer; replaced the headliner and repaired the driver seat to original condition; had all “parking lot” dents and dings professionally removed; it has a professionally installed alarm system with a starter interupter; had the exterior and interior detailed about a year ago; installed a vinyl, fold up, bed cover about a year and a half ago (easy to use); the tires are new, less than 500 miles on them; wheels are original, but the center caps are not (originals are impossible to find). I am probably missing something!  I have changed the oil every 3,000 miles since I’ve owned the truck.  It uses no oil between changes.  I know of no mechanical problems at present.  The dash has some repairable cracks around the defroster vents.  I put a Carhart custom dash cover on it and it looks great!  The tailgate had stickers on it when I bought the truck.  There are some “shadows” remaining.
