Chevrolet Nova. High-quality repaint featuring added "SS" trim and
emblems. Good original chrome and brightwork overall. Very good and
highly original interior, including split-back front bench in
two-tone cloth and vinyl, plus factory door panels. Full
OEM-specification "LOF" scripted glass including tinted windshield.
The 396 CI V-8 is equipped with MSD electronic ignition, a
single-plane Edelbrock intake, Holley double-pumper carb, headers
and dual exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers, plus chrome rocker
covers and a chrome factory-style air cleaner. AutoMeter gauges
include the tachometer, shift light, and oil-pressure, coolant
temperature, and voltmeter gauges. Other upgrades include an
electric cooling fan, oil cooler, Concept One billet power-steering
pump, power brakes (front disc), and billet serpentine-belt drive.
An automatic transmission with B&M Pro Ratchet shifter and OEM
10-bolt differential deliver power. Underneath, the Nova is solid
and correct, with upgrades including the springs and Gabriel
Hi-Jacker air shocks. The trunk is finished in factory style and
equipped with a properly mounted spare. Wide, period style steel
wheels mount businesslike hub caps and BF Goodrich Radial T/A
tires. A high-end Kenwood AM/FM CD stereo provides additional
entertainment, but we prefer the exhaust sound of this quality Nova
