1970 Plymouth Road Runner 440 Clone This custom 1970 Plymouth
Satellite coupe has been modified in the style of a Road Runner and
is powered by a 440ci V8 engine linked to a 3-speed automatic
transmission and an 8.75-inch limited-slip rear end with 3.73:1
gearing. The engine is modified with revised pistons and aluminum
cylinder heads, as well as an Edelbrock carburetor, Edelbrock
intake manifold, MSD ignition, aluminum radiator, Holley valve
covers, and TTI headers and exhaust. It is equipped with rack &
pinion steering and a tubular K-member. Braking is handled by
Wilwood front calipers over cross-drilled and slotted rotors, and
drums are utilized at the rear wheels. The car is finished in
Rallye Green with Road Runner-style graphics and has a
black-accented fiberglass hood with a scoop. This car rides on
American Racing 15-inch wheels mounted under Firestone Firehawk
tires. It also features a black vinyl roof, chrome bumpers, an
aftermarket suspension, a B&M Pro Ratchet shifter, a
trunk-mounted 15-gallon fuel cell and a black interior with bucket
seats. B ucket seats are trimmed in black vinyl complemented by a
color-coordinated dashboard, door panels and carpeting. This is a
