Zoom Classic Cars is pleased to present this 1970 Chevrolet El
Camino SS Tribute Custom Restomod. 1 of 4 Custom builds from a
private 4 car collection. High End build featuring a custom built
540CI /625 HP Dart Block Engine custom built by D'Amico Racing
Engines of NY and coupled with a 4 speed Muncie M21 transmission.
12 Bolt rear end with 3:31 gears. Engine features Aluminum Heads,
850 quick fuel carburetor, Lemons Headers with 2 1/8 primaries.
Aluminum "B" Cool radiator, Milodon oil pan and dual 13" electric
fans. 160 AMP alternator, Power Master XS Torque starter and MSD
Ignition box. Battery mounted behind seats. Engine pumps out 652 HP
at 5700 RPMS and dynoed at 675 @4500RPMs. New front disc brakes
with Vacuum pump and new wheel cylinders with Drum brakes in rear.
Black bucket seat interior with Classic Auto Air Conditioning,
Grant Wood Steering wheel, new body cushions, Chevy AM/FM Stereo
with Cassette, Aftermarket gauges mounted under Dash and Tachometer
mounted on console. Build started with a rust free EC with bench
seating and cowl induction hood and underwent a frame off
restoration. Car was stripped to bare metal, sandblasted and epoxy
applied while the frame was glass beaded and painted. Red paint is
in excellent overall condition and all of the trim, chrome and
badging is intact and in excellent condition as well. Rear bed has
rubber mat over cargo area and Craftec cover over the bed in like
new condition. Undercarriage is immaculate and features 3 inch
Magnaflow Exhaust system with X pipe and Magnaflow Race Mufflers.
Hotchkis front and rear sway bars for impressive handling. Car
rides on new Continental Extreme Contact Tires mounted on Custom
Chrome TSW wheels. 245-45ZR17s in the front and 275 45ZR18s in the
rear. Car has always been meticulously maintained in climate
controlled garage in Lake George Region of NY and has clean title
