Description:
This 1961 Austin-Healey Bugeye Sprite was refurbished under prior
ownership and is finished in red over black vinyl with white
piping. The car is powered by a 1,098cc inline-four paired with a
four-speed manual transmission, and equipment includes a black soft
top, 13? steel wheels, and bucket seats with three-point
seatbelts.
Interior:
The bucket seats have been retrimmed in black vinyl with white
piping, and interior appointments include a body-color shifter
surround, three-point seat belts, and door pockets. The two-spoke
steering wheel frames Smiths instrumentation consisting of a
100-mph speedometer, a 6k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for fuel
level, oil pressure, and water temperature. The five-digit odometer
shows 88k miles.
Exterior:
The car has been repainted red and features a replacement black
soft top, a bright grille, a chrome front bumper and rear
bumperettes, dual side mirrors, and a single exhaust outlet.
Drivetrain:
The 1,098cc inline-four featured dual SU carburetors from the
factory for a rating of 42.5 horsepower and 52 lb-ft of torque.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual
transmission. The 13? steel wheels wear chrome hubcaps and are
mounted with Vredestein Sprint tires. Braking is handled by drums
at each corner.
