Vehicle Description
1947 Chevy 1/2 ton 5 window pickup truck in my collection since
2019 and I have been using around my farm on short fun drives to
our local trout streams a mile or so away. This truck is a 1/2 ton
shortbox and a 5 window. The truck has a 216 6cyl that runs awesome
and starts up on the first try every time I have used it. It is
running off a aux gas tank in the bed as the original tank looked
dirty and should be cleaned out or replaced. The bed has a sheet of
plywood in it as the original wood was rotted away. The brakes stop
the truck really well. The 4 speed manual transmission shifts all
gears like it should. The speedo does not work. The tires have
really good deep tred. The floor was patched in a few spots. The
glass is all there but there are cracks in the driver side
windshield and side window. The windows roll up and down, the
passenger side you have to help it a bit. The seat is complete but
could use new upholstery. I used a seat cover when I drove it. The
frame looks solid. I elected to leave the body original looking
with the faded paint and dings / survivor patina etc. study the
video and pics to see what it is. really solid overall in my
opinion. The previous owner told me he replaced the doors on the
truck and they were from a 53 truck he had. This truck has a clean
and clear title. Trim Pkg 5 window 3100 Body Style Full Size Pickup
