GR Auto Gallery is pleased to offer another affordable classic,
this 1978 Fiat 124 Spider. The 124 was designed by world renown
Italian coach builder, Pininfarina. This sporty little convertible
debuted in 1966 at the Turin Auto Show and was made available to
the European and US market. The cars were small but very capable
sports cars that were fun to drive. The interiors were roomy and
well appointed compared to other cars in its class, and the
Pininfarina body design would prove timeless.
The 1978 Fiat 124 spider offered here is powered by its spunky 1.8
liter dual overhead cam engine, 5 speed manual transmission and
rear wheel drive. It is presented in Rosso Bougainville, over black
interior. Highlights include wood steering wheel, original
interior, newer paint, newer tires, 5 Panasport wheels, rear
mounted antenna and spare tire. The car starts right up and offers
much fun when behind the wheel.
Fiat 124 Spiders are fun and reliable cars that are quite easy to
own. They offer a great driving experience and are accepted in any
automotive arena. A lot of fun for not a lot of money.
