About the model
Cadillac introduced the ninth generation of Eldorado for the 1971 model year, and was offered as coupe or convertible. For 1971 to 1976, the 9th Gen Eldorado was fitted with a 8.2L V8 engine, and from 1977 to 1978, it was fitted with a 7.0L V8. The ninth-generation Eldorado was in production until 1978 and was replaced by the Tenth Generation Cadillac Eldorado.
