For Sale: 1951 Ford F1 in Blanchard, Oklahoma

Vehicle Description

1951 Ford F1 with a Ford Racing 351 Windsor making 385 Horsepower according to Ford Racing. C 6 automatic transmission and a Lokar shifter. Air conditioning works great. Odometer shows 66K but motor and transmission have approximately 6,500 miles on them according to previous owner. This truck was built to drive and enjoy, and does that extremely well. Mustang 2 front suspension with a Chevrolet rear end. Recent upgrades are, new limited slip rearend with 383 gears, Holley 670 carburetor, Modern stereo system with sub and power amp plus remote control to stereo.  Power seats on both sides with large console with power window controls mounded on console. Has 2 separate battery shutoff switches. Shaved doors and Ghost flames set this truck off and will get you a lot of compliments. The original builder started out building this truck back in 2001. Once finished, he used it as a daily driver making calls on clients driving this classic truck. After a few years on the road (about 60k) he refreshed the paint, put new interior, new wheels and tires (rear are 275 r60 15's), new Ford Racing engine and a new c6 transmission. He then parked it in his garage and drove it to local cruise ins and car shows. The Truck drives exceptionally well, is tight and has a great ride. The underside has been treated and shows no rust. Rear tires are on 8 inch wheels and are over 10 inches wide. I purchased this truck over a year ago to drive until I got my dream truck built (40 Ford) and now need to sell this one so I will have room for another classic car (1969 Mach 1). I own 4 classics, and only have 4 spaces to park my toys (haven/t been able to talk my wife into parking outside). What makes this truck such a great value is, its a Ford Truck Powered by Ford, and it has a lot of horsepower for a "Cruiser". There are a lot of 48-52 Ford trucks out there for sale but by far, the majority are either Chevy powered or restored to original with weak performance motors. Currently, Ford Racing gets about $16,000 for this engine ready to go. I just finished another 351 W with over 500 HP that went into my 40 and just in parts, I have invested over $25,000 in the drivetrain.  There is a reason you see mostly Chevy powered motors in Classic Ford trucks and cars, and its because they are a lot less expensive to do. The motivating reason I bought this truck originally was because of the Ford Powered drivetrain.
