This Corvair is an extremely well optioned car from the factory, including: 140hp engine with an automatic, Powerglide transmission. Telescoping steering column and factory "wood" steering wheel, remote driver's outside mirror, factory AM/FM radio, power convertible top, bumper guards, factory tinted windows, rear mount antenna and factory wire wheel hubcaps. In 2020, the engine was rebuilt from the crankshaft on up, including: polished crank, new main and rod bearings, copper head gaskets, honed cylinders, new rings, valves and valve springs, all seals and gaskets, rebuilt carbs, etc. The car also had both lower ball joints replaced and a four wheel alignment. The brakes were rebuilt with new shoes, turned drums, new wheel cylinders, rubber lines and a new dual master brake cylinder. The tires were new with Maxxis 185/80/r13 as well as the fuel tank replaced. The entire interior was new including cushions as well as the convertible top, pads, window, etc. Engine tins were media blasted and powder coated.
