1964 Chevrolet Malibu SS. Starting out with a no expense spared
Frame-off build, This Malibu Has received countless custom upgrades
including a PFI Ram Jet 454, a Tremec 6-speed Transmission, a built
Ford 9-inch rear end and so much more! Finished in a stunning
Metallic Silver over a Saddle Custom Interior built by the one and
only Paul Atkins, This Malibu is not just form but very functional
as well.
The Exterior Body retains much of the original design with
additions like high polished Trim, Billet Aluminum rear panel
molding,and Discreetly eliminated "Chevrolet" script on Front and
rear. The Remaining emblems received chrome plating and have a show
stopping shine to them. The laser straight body has been
professionally sprayed in the sleek Metallic Silver, perfectly
accenting the beautiful lines of this Malibu. The lowered stance is
provided via Air-Ride Technologies air suspension, Allowing for
full adjustability of ride height depending on the situation!
Sitting on a set of Foose with highly polished barrels and custom
painted Dark Gray Face.
The custom Saddle Interior has been perfectly executed by the
Legendary Paul Atkins. Featuring a Custom built leather wrapped
dash that flows perfectly into the center console.
Featuring Classic Instruments Analog Gauges with a beautiful high
polished lip. Custom built seats started life in a Lexus SC400,
they were then sculpted to deeper bucket seats, deleted headrests
and finished in Mercedes-Benz Leather providing unmatched
durability and comfort. Fully Electric Seat adjustments add another
level of comfort and usability. The Door panels have been
beautifully built and wrapped in the same high quality Mercedes
Leather as the rest of the interior, featuring highly polished
trim, aluminum speaker grates, and beautiful Chrome door handles
and window cranks. The headliner was expertly built using suede.
Additional amenities include Vintage Air A/C with custom knobs,
Tilt Steering Column, Power Brakes, Power Steering, and a BlauPunkt
Radio unit with a custom sound system. Air-ride Controls are neatly
tucked away in the center console. The Trunk has also received the
Paul Atkins treatment featuring the same high quality materials and
matching saddle leather as the rest of the interior.
The engine bay features a smoothed firewall and body colored inner
fenders providing a very clean and great looking home for the Ram
Jet 454 Engine. This 7.4L has been beautifully dressed with a PFI
Ram Jet Intake, Custom painted valve covers that tie into the
colors of the car, High Polished front runner pulley system, and
long tube headers that flow into a 3 inch exhaust. The Tremec
6-speed Transmission provides great gearing no matter what the
situation. A built Ford 9 Inch rear evenly puts the power to the
ground via a Posi-Traction rear. Additional features include the
air ride system, with custom tubular front A-Arms, and a Rear
4-Link Suspension System.
