In the midst of hot rods, street machines, and muscle cars the 50's
Customs are King. The Fan base for 50's custom over the last few
years has expanded exponentially.
The '56 Olds defies description! The longer you look the more
details you find. The 50's cars are the "King of Kustoms." To make
a presence is what a custom is all about. The '56 certainly offers
some classic custom touches. If you are going to drive a Fifty's
custom bring style and some attitude. The resurgent of 50's Rock
and Roll lifestyle is coming on strong be it Rockabilly or Greaser
lifestyle or Lowride Cruiser the '56 Olds is a perfect match for
you.
Every custom started life as an idea, a dream, a vision of what the
ultimate ride would be. The '56 has a 455ci that has a FITech fuel
injection with tuner "Go Street 400HP." If you're at Mile High or
sea level the tuner can easily reset your fuel injection. Spark is
from HEI performance Delco Remy distributor that give a more
efficient combustion for higher power output. All neatly hidden
under a classic Cadillac air cleaner. Increase cooling capacity
with performance aluminum radiator, and an aluminum transmission
cooler. Stay cool under the harshest conditions from 600-3,000 cfm
electric fan. Matched to a newly rebuilt 700R4 transmission. A
4-Speed automatic features an overdrive fourth gear. A Ford 9" rear
end. Competition full-length headers, and 2.5-inch dual exhaust
with Summit Racing black two-chamber mufflers. This beauty has a
great sound.
Add modern braking performance conversion with Master cylinder and
brake booster combo by LEED. Front disc brakes and rear drums, and
yes even has an emergency brake.
The interior is top shelf with no money was spared here! All
leather two-tone seats and matching door panels. The headliner is
one of the nicest I have ever seen with the chrome ribs and chrome
moldings. The Atomic style Mid-century dash is all class. The
Dolphin gauges in a qual style gauge set have the perfect look and
finish. Updated electric 2-speed wipers. Electric fan for fresh
air, heat, and defrost. Classic heavy duty Vintage Air
Conditioning. Original restored radio keeping to the proper style
for the dash. All dash chrome is show quality. Premium quality
chrome tilt steering column with self-canceling turn signals,
four-way flasher, hazard switch, and horn. Let's not over look this
baby even has cruise control. Perfect for those road trips.
The doors open with a keyless entry. The FOB will open with a push
of a button either drivers or passenger door. Even the trunk is
highly detailed in two-tone leather. Comes with a spare tire and
jack stand.
The '56 is sporting a few classic custom touches such as a louvered
hood. All chrome has been removed from the hood for a clean smooth
look. The door handles and locks have been removed for the custom
FOB's. The two-tone metallic Gold and Root Beer paint is a crowd
pleaser. All the chrome is in excellent condition no pitting or
rust. The aggressive stance is thanks to Rocket Racing wheels and
225/55R17 and 245/55R18 General radial tires. This is an
outstanding example of an Americana custom.
From the first glance there's much, much more than meets the eye.
If you're looking for that ultimate 50's custom this, is it! The
Olds has only 10,909 mile on the build.
This car has a lot going on for $64,500.00!
This vehicle is located in Edmonds, Washington.
