for purchase. Named for the reptile, Caiman, the model line started
in 2005 based off the roadster Boxster platform. It is a luxury
coupe sports car that is rear mid-engined and rear-wheel drive.
Thanks to its mid-engine layout and driving dynamics, the Cayman S
is known as one of the best handling cars of any price range. The
3.4L flat 6 cylinder engine was derived from the 3.2L powerplant
used in the Boxster S, but featured cylinder heads from the Porsche
997's 3.8L motor which have the VarioCam Plus inlet valve timing
and lift system. Combine the critical acclaim for the performance
with the amazing luxury in this loaded auto and the driver should
not be left to desire anything.
This example has had some tasteful upgrades that inlude FVD
Brombacher headers and sport exhuast, 200 high flow cats, IDP
aluminum Plenum and GT3 intake/FVD tuned to 350HP, Torque BIased
differential. This car is very desireable as it is direct inject so
no need to worry about the IMS bearing it is also the 6 speed
manual.
