This truck features a Volare front suspension, disc brakes, and rack and pinion steering. The rear axle is also from a Volare. It is powered by an approximately 1972 Ford 429 engine with a C6 automatic transmission. It has power brakes and a tilt steering wheel, and everything works.
The truck boasts beautiful TA-50 wheels with lots of tread and plenty of chrome all around. It has many new parts, including a 4-core aluminum radiator, braided transmission lines, polished upper and lower pulleys with belt reduction, and a new chrome fuel pump (still in the box, ready for you to install). The glass on the truck is in fantastic condition except for one side vent which has some checking. The paint is very clean with only the occasional rock chip. The truck bed has chrome strips and is in immaculate condition, with all side walls being great and free of dents to the best of my knowledge.
The interior is extremely nice with no rips. There are some additional round gauges other than the speedometer, including a working temperature gauge and oil pressure gauge. The alternator gauge needs replacement.
I have had the truck for approximately one year. Recently, I went to take it for a drive around the neighborhood and found the front calipers are sticking a bit, so they will need servicing or replacement. I will include the necessary parts. Unfortunately, I no longer have the time to work on the truck.
