Plymouth officially entered the 'muscle car' race in 1968 with the
Roadrunner, but folks had been enjoying MOPAR muscle for years.
Early 'B' body Plymouths and Dodges lacked nothing from a
performance standpoint - horsepower, torque, indestructible
transmissions and a solid chassis for traction. One of their best
was the mid-60's Belvedere. This 1965 Plymouth Belvedere II has
been the benefactor of a careful restoration (2022) with some
serious mechanical upgrades. The exterior was nicely prepped and
professionally refinished in Medium Turquoise. Accents include a
functional 'Ramcharger' hood scoop and period correct American
Racing 'Torq Thrust D' alloys that mount Cooper Performance radial
tires. The interior carries an original theme with classic new
vinyl upholstery, nice headliner and handsome carpeting. However,
there is a custom wheel and complete set of SunPro gauges
w/tachometer.
The owner states that horsepower is furnished by a rebuilt 440ci
wedge that is equipped with aluminum heads. Dual Edelbrock 4-barrel
carburetors are mounted on an Edelbrock aluminum intake and fire is
provided by a 'Street Fire' electronic ignition. Exhaust is routed
through tube headers to a custom exhaust system and cooling is
managed by an aluminum radiator. The wedge is backed by a
Torqueflite 3-speed automatic with B&M shifter. This Belvedere
is equipped with manual steering and manual disc/drum brakes with a
dual master. A new fuel tank has also been installed. Study the
photos of this classic MOPAR, then come take it for a drive. Plan
to hang on - you will not be disappointed. ALL VEHICLES SOLD "AS
