1964 Chevrolet K-20 Custom Truck Why This Car Is Special The C/K
line of trucks of which the K20 was included, was Chevrolet and
GMC's full -size pickup truck line from 1960 until 2000 in the
United States. The first Chevrolet pickup truck was introduced in
1924, though in-house designs did not appear until 1930. 'C'
indicated two-wheel drive and 'K' indicated four-wheel drive. We
have a restored C series truck that has been custom made into a 4x4
long bed pickup here at Skyway Classics that has a lot of
originality but has a few more modern touches including a 454 cubic

has a whole lot more power now with its 454 cubic inch Chevrolet
engine complete with a Holley 4-barrel carburetor, polished open
air cleaner assembly, matching polished aluminum valve covers,
black block and intake, stainless steel dual exhaust system,
headers, air conditioning, power steering, power disc brakes are on
all 4 corners, and a TH400 3-speed automatic transmission sends the
power back to Dana 60 axles. Backing it all up is twin cooling
fans, aluminum radiator, raised leaf spring suspension front and
rear, clean oak flooring in the bed, black painted chassis and
suspension, while riding on BF Goodrich All Terrain A/T tires and
custom black/silver mag wheels. Interior Ours has a complete custom
interior with full length bench seat in gray, factory dash with the
Dolphin gauges have been inserted into a polished and ribbed bezel,
a modern AM/FM stereo, aftermarket A/C, auxiliary water temperature
gauge, rally steering wheel, gray carpet, and a stitched gray vinyl
headliner. The door panels are in body matching blue framework for
the silver and gray painted steel insert. It has door handles and
cranks as well as a small armrest, wing windows and all rubber
seals are near perfect and new. Exterior It has straight all steel
¼ panels with nearly perfectly gaps and alignment with deep
sapphire blue 2 stage paint. Chrome is excellent, badging all
correct, and the cab windows are nice. It has a great wooden bed
with polished stainless, and the Rhino-Liner type sprayed on
coating on the sides and bulkhead. Rounding out the bed is a shaved
handle tailgate that presents just as flawlessly as the rest of the
truck. It still has that honest, hard-working look that only
vintage trucks like this can earn, but you can also show up at the
local cruise night in it and more than a few folks will give it an
approving nod. Conclusion This 1964 Chevy 4x4 custom made restored
