The GTO is the stuff that legends are made of. This beautifully
restored and handsome 1967 Pontiac GTO is an excellent example of
one of the greatest muscle brands of all time. For 1967, engine
displacement was increased from 389 to 400 cubic inches, with
horsepower ratings remaining unchanged. While many competing
automakers responded with their own mid-sized performance cars, the
GTO was the standard against which all the others were judged.
Finished in a mirror-gloss soft white color, the paint quality and
laser-straight body on the GTO is far above average normally seen
on these cars, highlighting the famous Pontiac "Coke Bottle"
styling associated with Pontiacs produced in the 1960s. A black
vinyl top matches the interior. A set of 14-inch Pontiac Rally ll
wheels wrapped with P225/70R14 BF Goodrich Radial T/A tires add to
this classic muscle car's looks. The Black interior is restored to
factory specifications, including the correct steering wheel, AM
radio and seat upholstery. Additionally, this GTO was optioned with
factory air conditioning as well as the highly desirable Hurst His
& Hers automatic shifter.
Under the scooped hood is a healthy sounding and correct 1967 date
coded YS block Pontiac 400 cubic inch engine mated to a TH400
automatic transmission. The engine bay is detailed and features an
updated air conditioning compressor charged with 134a, correct
chrome valve covers, H.O. style louvered air cleaner, power
steering, and power front disc brakes.
