car's solid body was completely stripped, thoroughly massaged and
layered in a liquid-smooth coat of bright red 2-stage paint. With
that paint buffed to brilliance, new glass was complemented with
new, professionally polished trim and color-keyed quarter banners.
With that profile dyed and detailed, a custom-stitched cloth
folding top was artfully stretched over the cockpit.
Toss the car's long hood and you'll find a hot 6.2L all aluminum
LS3 V8 that, looks ALMOST as good as it runs. That well-mannered
motor twists a modern 6L80 6-speed automatic transmission, which is
hooked to a tough 10 bolt rear axle and 3.55 gears. The boxed and
smoothed chassis hangs tubular control arms at each corner and coil
over shocks up front. Power steering provides tracking. Quick stops
are a cinch thanks to 4-wheel disc brakes. And stylish Budnik
polished aluminum wheels throw torque through Michelin Pilot Sport
tires.

leather upholstery and accompanied by matching custom covered door
and side panels. A fully restored dash hangs beautiful Classic
Instruments gauges adjacent to Vintage Air a/c controls and a
