TITLE: 1930 Model A Shay (Jordan) OPENING: Built in 1980, this is
one of the popular Shay Model A replicas produced from '79-'82.
Originally intended for a run of 10,000, only 5,000 were produced.
Demand was high, but they were all hand built by teams of 4 rather
than by assembly line. Equipped with a Pinto 4-cylinder engine and
a 4 -speed manual transmission, it's perfect for Summertime fun.

limited run of 10,000 units, exempting it from Federal regulations,
but just 5,000 were made. With the outward appearance of the
classic 1930 Model A the Shay offered more power, better handling
and the kind of dependability you wouldn't expect from the
original. In fact a number of design patents for its modern
components were applied for and awarded. It even came with a 12
month, 12k mile warranty!
