This 1978 Ford Ranchero GT is a sweet ride, powered by a 400 CID V8
mated to a 3-Speed automatic which shifts smoothly and as it
should. The engine compartment is clean and ready for the local car
shows and/or cruise nights. This Ranchero has basically remained
stock and presents well. The current owner states all service has
been kept up on this Ford Ranchero and it drives smooth with no
issues.
The interior is in nice stock condition other than the CD player
with USB input in the dash. A nice upgrade in our opinion. Stock
door panels, headliner, carpet, steering wheel and column shifter
keep you in control and are in very good shape. The seats are a
split bench with fold down armrests that are very comfortable and
in great shape! This 1978 Ford Ranchero is optioned with factory
AC, power steering, power brakes, alloy wheels and radial tires.
Dual exhaust has a nice rumble and will make onlookers wonder what
is lurking on the long hood!
This Ford isn't just show and go, it would make a great daily
driver, its rides smooth and provides you with a very comfortable
ride with the over padded seats.The under carriage of this Ranchero
is clean and it has dual exhaust. The suspension parts look newer
and give a very smooth ride. Out back we have a spray-in bedliner,
which makes this bed usable and means it has years of life to give
the next owner. To complete the look of this Ford it has the
correct Dark Brown Metallic paint with Gold GT decals. Weld style
wheels are wrapped in raised white letter radial tires for a cool
look and providing plenty of traction for that big V8 engine!
These late 70s Rancheros are starting to get noticed and have
increased in value significantly over the last 5 years. You get the
capability of a light truck, the creature comforts of a luxury car,
and the power of a muscle car all in one!
