With the prices of real Speedsters hitting north of 300K, and
really nice Replicas well over the price of a real 356 coupe
fifteen years ago, This particular unit seems like a steal,
considering mechanically it starts, runs and goes through the gears
really nicely. The bad about this car is that the paint is older
and dull, however we have not tried to wheel it out, it may clean
up better, and also the interior is ok, presentable but OK. I am a
huge fan of the bath tubs and the 356 coupes are one of my all time
cars. Its interesting to think about the history of the 356 in
Germany, and then when Max Hoffman, the German importer from the US
asked Porsche to make a "Cheaper 356", with no windows and crude
seats and cheaper top, the outcome would be the most collectible
356 out there. I have watched these cars climb in value in
monumental form and even looking at values of Replicas is crazy.
This car is prices with a driver in mind, that isn't afraid to use
this car as they were initially intended. Please let us know if you
have any questions.
