Vehicle Description
1966 PONTIAC GTO PERFORMANCE UPGRADES, TREMEC 5 SPEED, PHS
DOCUMENTED This is one clean 1966 GTO! Looking down both sides it
is straight. It looks amazing in its custom Blue exterior. The
paint has a smooth and glossy finish. All of the stainless trim has
been polished or replaced. The front and rear bumpers have been
rechromed. It sits on a set of US Mags with 245/40 ZR18 on the
front and 275/40 ZR18 on the rear. The engine bay is nice and tidy
with a rebuilt 389 ci that has a few performance upgrades: HEI
flame thrower ignition, Edelbrock aluminum intake manifold with a
Proform dual feed carburetor, Pontiac black wrinkle finish aluminum
valve covers, 4-core aluminum radiator with built in electric fan
for those hot summer days. It also features Doug's long tube
headers and power steering. The Black interior is new from the
headliner to the carpet. There is a Hurst 5-speed shifter coming up
through the floor between the bucket seats. There are new door
handles, armrest bases, sill plates and kick panels. Looking
forward at the dash: the lenses are clear, the gauges and
speedometer look good. The dash pad is nice, no cracks. Looking up
at the floors, it is all clean metal and appears to be original, no
patch panels. The motor and Tremec transmission look clean as well.
It has a 3" dual exhaust with FlowMaster mufflers and factory style
tail pipes running all the way out the back. The E-brake assembly
is complete and working. The trunk is all clean metal; it has a
light coat of black and aqua spatter paint finish. This 1966 GTO
runs and drives phenomenal!! This gorgeous GTO turns heads
everywhere you go!!
