1972 Pontiac Grand Prix Model J The third-generation Grand Prix, a gentlemans muscle car, was one of John DeLoreans most successful creations. Characterized by its strong lines, long hood, stretched A-body (called a G-body) chassis, and prominent Pontiac grille, it reinvented the luxury/performance car genre. The previous owner claimed that he believed the 61,000 miles was actual, (title shows exempt) based on the condition of the car inside and out it could very well be. Magazine car! An article and pictures of our 72 Grand Prix featured in High-Performance Pontiac magazine (see pics). Gorgeous car inside and out, top and bottom. Paint, interior, trim, chrome, bright work pretty close to perfect. This rust free 72 Grand Prix is in turnkey condition as well. A few minor things that needed to be addressed and were, now everything with the exception of the cruise control is operating as it should. Numbers matching drive train 400 V-8 mated to a TH 400 GM transmission. Cold air conditioning, power steering, power brakes, tilt steering column, custom auto sound stereo with auxiliary, Pioneer speakers, drivers remote mirror riding on a set of Cooper tires and Pontiac rally wheels.
