1989 Porsche 911 Turbo Slant Nose 5-Speed Coupe
This is one of just 39 USA model Porsche 930 Slant Nose coupes
built for 1989, which is not only the final year of production, but
it is the only year fitted with the 5-speed G50 gearbox. It is a
one-owner car that was purchased new from Newport Auto Center
(Porsche Newport Beach, CA) on 7/14/89 for $121,000 plus fees, for
a total of $130,370.50 and it has remained in Southern California
since new.
The Stone Grey Metallic paintwork is mostly original and shows
well. The leather interior is in excellent original condition
(never re-dyed) with minimal wear and all optional gauges, lighting
and period technology are operational. The 7" and 9" Fuchs alloy
wheels are wearing new Pirelli tires in the correct staggered
fitment. Recent service work included a detailed inspection, oil
change, headlight switch replacement, lubing shifter cables,
replacing lower valve cover gaskets, replacing oil line and
pressure sender, installing new sunroof cables, and servicing the
system.
