This beautifully restored 1946 Chevrolet pick-up is full of classic character and just a touch of modern innovation. Finished in deep metallic green with black fenders, with great attention to detail, perfect for a classic Chev Truck enthusiast or collector. The project began with a very solid rust free and complete truck. The original 216ci has been replaced with a 235, and still runs through the original 3sp transmission. This foundation was the basis for a frame-up restoration during which all mechanicals were rebuilt, as well as every nut and bolt, front to back. Period correct wiring, converted to 12V with alternator.
The cowl vent as well as the crank out windshield are fully functional. Rear bumper is from a vintage Suburban.
All gauges work (except speedometer) Turn signals, headlights, tail lights. Horn….. All work as they should.
New Goodyear tires all around with Portawalls.
The interior has been customized with black carpet and tan vinyl bench seat. All interior panels where sound proofed before reassembly.
It is currently insured and driven regularly.
As far as 78 year old trucks go…. It is amazing to drive. No issues. Always starts immediately, hot or cold.
