This is a Gorgeous 1955 Bel Air 2 door post, done in factory Turquoise and White with tastefully done hand pinstripe, basecoat clearcoat, sanded and wheeled smooth, at time of restoration had new factory tint glass, new windshield and back glass rubber, new weather stripping and window felts, all original window stainless moldings have been re-polished in excellent condition, Bel Air side window trim is also original and has been re-polished in excellent condition, new side view mirrors, new door handles with accessory fingernail guards, new hood jet and hood emblem, stainless grill in excellent condition, hood bar and grill moldings look like new, new parking lights, re-chromed front bumper and bumper guards, all Bel Air stainless side moldings are original and have been re-polished in excellent condition; also has stainless stone guards and rocker moldings which look like new, accessory gas door guard, new taillight bezels, set of custom bowtie taillight lens, deck lid emblem has been nicely updated with 3rd brake light insert, re-chromed rear bumper and bumper guards.
At time of restoration dash and all garnish trim has been re-finished, new dash bezels, factory original instrument cluster, direct-fit Retro Auto Sound AM/FM/Cassette stereo; also has Clarino CD changer, trio of gauges nicely mounted under dash, factory steering wheel with new horn ring, new headliner and visors, front and rear door panels were custom done in black and turquoise, front and rear seats were reupholstered to match, updated with front and rear seat belts, nicely outfitted with B&M Performance shifter which is correct for the 700R4 overdrive trans, new carpet and deluxe floor mats.
Under the hood we have a mild built 30 over 350 with Edelbrock aluminum intake, Holley dual feed 4 barrel carb with electric choke, updated electronic ignition, updated 80 amp alternator, heavy duty aluminum radiator with shroud and fan, nicely updated with power steering, power front disc brakes, set of ceramic coated Hooker headers into 2 1/2 inch dual Flowmaster exhaust out the back with chrome tips, front suspension has been gone through, updated with front sway bar, this strong running 355 is backed up with a 700R4 overdrive trans, lock up converter, posi rear and 355 gear.
Rides on a set of Vintage Cragar SS wheels 15x7 all around, 215/65 up front and 235/70 out back with BF Goodrich TA Radials all around.
This "COOL" 55 is ready to cruise, show and enjoy.
