The C3 Corvettes continue to be a valuable asset both for the
collector car community and its enthusiasts but also continue to
rise in ranks amongst rising values. These cars were pretty
inexpensive for many years and a lot of them ended up in the wrong
hands being poorly modified or left in fields to rot away. The good
ones are now sought after and this is a really honest example. The
C3 Vette was really ahead of its time especially when it debuted in
1968. It would be built until 1982 and would undoubtedly go through
one of the hardest times in automotive history in the 70's dealing
with an oil embargo, new government regulations on safety,
environmental, and technology. This particular Maroon T-top example
is fitted with the desirable 4-speed manual transmission and just
received a brand new GM crate 350 cubic inch V8 that was
professionally installed. This Vette sits with a very nice stance,
has plenty of power with a very nice interior. It starts on the
first turn of the key, idles perfectly, does not have any funky
smells or noises and goes down the road smooth and strait. The
paint is also very nice. It comes with a fitted car cover and all
recent repair work, engine info from GM and install receipts. Been
shaken out and is ready to go.
