This 1936 Plymouth coupe comes with receipts and photo albums of
it's history. Purchased by it's current owner in 2001, the car was
disassembled and underwent a thorough restoration process from 2002
to 2010, with extensive documentation through photographs and
receipts. The body was sandblasted, and the frame was treated and
painted, before being finished in red paint. Under the hood, a 1954
Dodge flathead inline 6 engine is paired with a 3-speed
synchronized manual transmission, powered by a 6V battery system
with a kill switch below the dash for added convenience. The
interior features beautiful upholstery work by Kiski Valley
Upholstery, and a modern radio installation that blends seamlessly
into the modified dashboard. A single exhaust system with a cherry
bomb muffler adds a touch of nostalgia to this classic ride.
The car fires up with the turn of the key. It drives smoothly and
shifts with ease. The trunk space is large and cleanly upholstered.
Between the seats and the trunk space are two speakers that provide
audio from the radio. You have to see this Plymouth in person to
appreciate the nostalgia. Come see it on our showroom or call
814-746-4213 for a deeper look.
