For sale 2002 Ford Lightning fully built and fully fueled 2.9L Whipple monster! Fully built by Dante’s Modular Performance here in San Diego. 2 owner truck (Carfax will show 3 as pervious owner had to remove his ex-wife from title) clean CA title always garaged kept in San Diego until the last few years when classic cars forced it outside. Bought new from Kerny Mesa Ford maintained by them until the warranty expired then at Dantes Modular Performance. I have 4 folders full of maintenance records, performance receipts, everything ever done to this truck since new!!! Chassis has 180xxx miles on it, built motor, transmission and rear end all have 22k on them with absolutely 0 issues, not even an oil leak! Supercharger has roughly 1000 miles on it new e85 fuel system has less than 500 miles on it. This truck is tuned for e85 and 91 octane and can easily be changed by the included tuner. Also included in the sale of the truck is a drag pack (front and rear wheels), stock cats, stock head unit, car cover, new suede door handles and I’m sure a few other parts I’m forgetting. This truck is in excellent condition for its age and miles, I would bet better than most lower mile trucks. Lots of recent maintenance and parts make this truck a very reliable high horsepower street truck that turns heads everywhere it goes. This truck in its current state will not pass CA smog and is sold as such, the Whipple kit is smog legal with the CARB number on it, you will need to put the stock cats back on and change out the fuel injectors to make it pass smog, if you live out of CA run it as it is!
