1986 Mustang SVO Fox Body. 4 cylinder turbocharged and intercooled from the factory that was rated at 175 HP. 5-speed manual with factory Hurst short throw shifter. Factory rims are wrapped in new rubber and the wheel finish is acceptable for the age with some fading of the clearcoat. Car retains its original (appearing) Koni adjustable red shocks in all 6 locations AND the original Koni adjuster tool. Vehicle appears mostly unmolested and retains almost all of its original componentry (it appears). It does appear that someone has removed the original catalytic converter. Factory stainless tailpipes are in place on both sides. Interior is showing very little wear (pictures were taken prior to any cleanup.) Dash pad, console, and gauges are in great shape for the year! Car has the typical SVO cold natured characteristics but runs and drives well once warmed up a little. We do not know if/when the timing belt has been replaced. 5-speed manual transmission shifts great, no grinds, and no pop-outs and only slight fluid seeps. Sometimes the release bearing chirps without any pedal pressure (when the noise happens it goes away immediately with the slightest touch of the pedal.) It does have some stone chips on the paint here and there and clearcoat is worn/flat on the top surfaces. AM/FM Cassette player works but has intermittent issues with the volume knob. AC is cool, there is a sticker on the radiator support showing the system was charged about 2 years ago. The car has had some recent repair/maintenance like valve cover gasket. Car is showing less than 37,000 miles and we were told that this is true and accurate. With the amazing condition of the interior we believe this statement. Vehicle is on a clear and transferrable NC title. Pans are almost flawless! This car has no rot!
