Cincy Classic Cars is proud to offer this stunning 1976 Camaro Rally Sport Type LT which is in terrific stock condition with low actual miles of 84,240. This factory Camaro Rally Sport is quite rare hosting factory Type LT interior, see photo of trim tag below with Rally Sport code Z85 and on build sheet. This Camaro is a three owner car and comes with numerous original dealer documents and receipts and service records going all the way back to 1976. I found the factory build sheet under the rear seat during detailing. This Camaro Rally Sport features a beautiful repaint in factory Yellow and Black with correct rally sport decals, a beautiful stock interior, and the original numbers matching 305 engine, see vin stamp photos above. This Camaro was factory rust proofed when new and is very solid with no visible rust anywhere around the car. This Camaro is finished in the beautiful and desirable color combinations of Bright Yellow & Black over Black deluxe vinyl interior. This is the factory color scheme as verified on the trim tag pictured above and factory build sheet. The low actual miles is not only verified by the great all around condition of this RS but also by the clear Ohio title pictured above stating the miles as "Actual."
Exterior
The Yellow and Black exterior is in terrific restored condition. This Camaro was treated to a repaint in factory Bright Yellow & Black, with new Rally Sport decals around 6 months ago. The paint is in great condition and is very fresh and both bumpers are in good shape. The paint has an excellent gloss and shine and is smooth to the touch. The gaps and lines are very good around the car and there are no dings or scratches in the paint. There may be some minor imperfections that are not noticeable in the photos, but noting was intentionally excluded from the photos. The tires have good tread left and the OEM rally wheels are in great shape and shine nicely. All weather stripping and window sweeps are in great condition. Trunk is very solid and clean with the original trunk mat, original spare tire, and the original jack. The rear speaker even has its original insulation box.
Interior
The Type LT interior of this Camaro Rally Sport is in excellent stock condition. The Type LT seat covers are in excellent condition with no major wear, seam splits, or rips or tears. These appear to be original covers and they are still in great shape and are supportive and comfortable. The carpet is in great condition with no major stains, rips, or holes. The Type LT door panels are in very good condition and both door pulls are solid and in tact. The original dash is in great shape with no cracks or fading and the dash bezel is in great condition as well. The am/fm stereo looks good in the car and thankfully the dash has not been cut for a modern stereo. A period correct aftermarket power booster is in the console pocket but could easily be removed. The package tray is in excellent condition. The headliner is like new with no sagging or stains. All interior and exterior lights and gauges work as they should, outside of the clock. The horn, wipers, stereo, heater and amazingly the cigarette lighter still works. This car has not been smoked in; there is no aroma what so ever. The factory AC is in tact and complete and is currently blowing cold air.
Mechanical
This Camaro is in great mechanical condition with only 84,240 actual miles on the original 305 engine. We have driven this RS numerous times around town and it always performs well, does not run hot, rides tight, and is a true joy to drive. In the video one can observe this car running and driving with no excessive rattles or noises, and the car handles and performs well. This Camaro is an great driver that feels good on the road and at highway speeds. It starts right away every time, idles well, and runs good. The brakes do not pull and stop as they should and the front brakes were serviced with new calipers and pads. This Camaro has factory style exhaust with a new Megnaflow Catalytic converter. Also, the engine is clean and nicely detailed as one can see from the photos.
