1970 Chevrolet El Camino Custom
Car History
Chevrolet El Camino was a coupe utility vehicle that was produced
by Chevrolet between 1959-1960 and 1964-1987. Unlike a pickup
truck, the El Camino was adapted from a two-door station wagon
platform that integrated the cab and cargo bed into the body.
The later El Caminos received sheet metal revisions back then that
gave the bodies a more squared-up stance and the interiors were
also redesigned. A lot of collectors think the 1970 El Camino is
the most desirable body style of all.
The 1970 El Camino Custom we have here at Adventure Classics has
had a frame-off resto around 2000 and was repainted in white with
Imron paint, has a custom interior, and is powered by a Gen IV 6.0
LS engine with a Stage 1 LS3 cam and 102mm self-learning
programmable induction/computer system with over 456
horsepower.
