Corvettes in history! In 2009, to celebrate 70 victories and eight
championships for the Corvette GT1 in the American Le Mans series,
Chevrolet produced a limited GT1 Championship Corvette. Chevrolet
planned to make 600 total GT1 Championship editions and ended up
only making 125. Of those 125, only 10 were velocity yellow
convertibles. This is one of those 10! A specific VIN sequence
identifies each of the 125 total cars. Coupes and convertibles
include the Z51 performance package and performance exhaust.
Chevrolet introduced the limited production Corvette GT1
Championship Edition at Sebring International Raceway. The GT1
