The Jaguar XK150 - the successor to the XK120 and XK140. The type name referred to the top speed of the
cars in miles per hour. In reality, the 150 narrowly missed that, but at 135 mp/h it was one of
the fastest production cars at the time. That disappointment did not end there, because what beautiful cars they are!
The 150 can be distinguished from its predecessors by its curved windscreen, which instead of a split-
window, consists of one piece. Also, the grill in the nose was slightly wider and the windscreen was moved back slightly
repositioned, making the nose appear slightly longer still.
Our XK150 was completely nut and bolt restored in 2002, returning the car to absolute top condition. The interior is a Suffolk & Turley interior and comes from MC Interiors in England. The deep black paint
colour matches beautifully with the dark walnut and white-beige interior with black piping.
The hood is white-beige on the outside as well as on the inside, giving a spacious feel when closed.
Apart from its optically stunning condition, the necessary overhauls and modifications have been made to make the XK150 even more of a
a real driver's car. The engine and Getrag five-speed gearbox have been fully
overhauled. The Getrag gearbox ensures that the Jag drives very comfortably even on the motorway.
In addition, the Jag is fitted with Aston Martin/Jaguar power steering, better brakes (four-pot brakes at the front, XJ
calipers at the rear) and the electrics have been converted to 12 volts with an alternator.
In short; an ultimate gentleman sports car ready for many enjoyable miles!
